Fuse Energy in London is seeking an experienced design lead to drive the product design roadmap across consumer apps, hardware, and home energy experiences.

You will collaborate directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to translate complex energy systems into elegant interfaces, while defining the brand language and guiding internal tool development. This fully remote role offers equity and biannual bonus opportunities.

Qualifikationen

Fuse Energy is an energy startup on a mission to make energy abundant and affordable. It is building a fully integrated energy company: developing its own solar, battery, and other generation projects, building hardware, improving grid infrastructure, trading power in real time, using AI across the business, and installing distributed energy in homes. The role

This is an early design hire at Fuse Energy, giving you significant influence over the entire product design roadmap. You would work directly with the CEO (formerly of Revolut) and collaborate across engineering, trading, and operations. The design team includes people from Pentagram, Revolut, and Arrival. Design leads product here rather than product managers.

What you would do

• Design consumer-facing mobile and web apps that reward users for managing their energy usage, balancing grid demand, and upgrading their homes with solar, batteries, and EVs.
• Shape physical and digital experiences covering home energy upgrades, hardware products, and home IoT device controls.
• Define Fuse's visual language and brand identity across web, mobile, motion, and physical products.
• Build internal tools and platforms from scratch that manage gigawatts of renewable energy, thousands of installations, and millions of customers.
• As the company scales, design grid management systems, reward mechanisms, and entirely new product categories.
