Job summary

Fuse Energy in London is seeking an experienced design lead to drive the product design roadmap across consumer apps, hardware, and home energy experiences.

You will collaborate directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to translate complex energy systems into elegant interfaces, while defining the brand language and guiding internal tool development. This fully remote role offers equity and biannual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong craft across typography, colour, composition, and UX.
• A track record of working end-to-end from initial vision through to design execution.
• Ability to translate complex systems into logical, modular, reusable interface structures.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Expert-level Figma skills (non-negotiable).
• Bonus: motion graphics, 3D tools, copywriting, or coding ability.

Responsibilities

• Design consumer-facing mobile and web apps that reward users for managing energy usage.
• Shape experiences covering home energy upgrades and IoT device controls.
• Define Fuse's visual language and brand identity across web, mobile, motion, and physical products.
• Build internal tools and platforms that manage gigawatts of renewable energy and millions of customers.
• As the company scales, design grid management systems and new product categories.
