Job description

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong experience in product design, UX, business process design, and Airtable to bring clarity to complex systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to transform user needs, technical constraints, and product strategy into intuitive, reliable, scalable, and accessible digital experiences.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with design systems, interaction design, workflow mapping, and Airtable-based business processes, with the ability to simplify complex workflows and deliver user-centered solutions across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Do
  • Design end-to-end calling experiences across Webex desktop, web, mobile, and device surfaces. Leverage Airtable to understand, map, organize, and optimize business workflows, operational processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, architects, UX researchers, and designers to define user flows, interaction models, and implementation-ready designs.
  • Identify opportunities where user needs, product strategy, platform capabilities, and business processes intersect, using design artifacts, prototypes, and storytelling to align teams.
  • Explore how AI-assisted and agentic workflows can improve real-time communication without adding friction or compromising user trust.
  • Create prototypes at appropriate levels of fidelity, from early workflow explorations to polished concepts for stakeholder alignment, usability testing, and engineering handoff.
  • Apply established design systems, including Cisco’s design system, to deliver consistent and scalable experiences while identifying gaps and proposing new patterns.
  • Design intuitive interfaces for complex workflows, including Airtable-powered processes, data organization, task management, and team collaboration, where applicable.
  • Validate design decisions through usability testing, heuristic evaluations, customer feedback, and collaboration with UX research.
  • Document interaction behavior, accessibility requirements, edge cases, business rules, and design rationale for product and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams through strong storytelling, systems thinking, process mapping, and pragmatic design judgment.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, and workflow generation while applying sound human-centered design principles.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or equivalent experience designing complex digital products.
  • Hands-on experience with Airtable for workflow organization, business process management, operational tracking, data structuring, or cross-functional collaboration.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking, interaction design, product judgment, and the ability to simplify complex workflows.
  • Experience designing enterprise SaaS products, collaboration tools, communication platforms, administrative tooling, or similarly complex product ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of business process design, workflow mapping, information architecture, and user journey optimization.
  • Ability to connect user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and platform capabilities into clear design direction.
  • A proactive approach to identifying gaps, framing opportunities, and influencing product decisions before solutions are fully defined.
  • Strong command of Figma, interactive prototyping, design systems, accessibility, and modern product design practices.
  • Practical accessibility knowledge, including familiarity with WCAG and inclusive design principles. Comfort working with ambiguity, technical complexity, and fast-moving product priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with product management, engineering, research, and design teams.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate design exploration, research synthesis, prototyping, and workflow creation, with clear judgment about where human design thinking is essential.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with telecommunications, calling, meetings, messaging, contact center, or real-time communication products.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows, automation agents, intelligent recommendations, or AI-powered collaboration features.
  • Experience working across desktop, mobile, web, and hardware-integrated experiences.
  • Familiarity with enterprise administration, provisioning, compliance, security, or regulated customer environments.
  • Experience integrating Airtable into business workflows or using Airtable APIs, automations, interfaces, and connected data sources.
  • Familiarity with enterprise workflow tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and business process automation.
