TYR Tactical is seeking a Product Design & Pattern Maker Assistant to support the Product Engineer with product development, pattern making, prototypes, and new design projects.

You will collaborate with sewing machine operators in a live production environment and help create tech-packs, while contributing to design iterations and quality control throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of design project experience.
• Collaboration experience with sewing machine operators in a live production setting.
• Understanding sewing steps and ability to create tech-packs for products.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in product design and development principles.
• Proficiency in Accumark software.
• Solid pattern-making expertise.
• Knowledge of various textiles, including lightweight, stretch, nylon, cordura, and aramid fibers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

This position is based in an office and production environment and requires regular collaboration with Product Engineering, Production, and other team members.
