Safariland, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Product Design & Pattern Maker Assistant to support design projects, create prototypes, and develop patterns for new products. You will work closely with Product Engineers and sewing operators to translate concepts into production-ready designs while maintaining quality and timelines.

The role emphasizes proficiency in Accumark, strong pattern-making skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of design project experience.
• Collaboration experience with sewing machine operators in a live production setting.
• Understanding sewing steps and ability to create tech-packs for products.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in product design and development principles.
• Proficiency in Accumark software.
• Solid pattern-making expertise.
• Knowledge of textiles including lightweight, stretch, nylon, cordura, and aramid fibers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Commitment to professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
