Job summary

TYR Tactical seeks a Junior Product Designer to assist the product design team in developing functional, manufacturable designs.

You will contribute to prototyping, patterns, and design solutions, collaborating with engineering, production, and quality to move concepts from idea to production. A hands-on, organized approach is valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting product design and development.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating product design fundamentals.
• Experience using Gerber AccuMark or similar pattern software preferred.
• Sewing and product construction experience preferred.
• Monitors production quality and provides feedback to maintain high standards.
• Identifies sewing challenges and finds practical solutions.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Effective communication and ability to work across departments.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities
