Job summary

EY’s Product Design Manager in New York leads multidisciplinary design delivery for EY Technology Consulting’s PxD Team. The role emphasizes AI-enabled experiences, design systems governance, and client collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes across engagements.

The position requires a strong portfolio, mastery of Figma, and fluency with Agile tools like Jira. You will mentor designers and help drive business outcomes through design leadership and strategic client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX design, Interaction Design, Industrial or Product Design or related field
• 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in product or UX design, with strong exposure to enterprise platforms or complex systems
• Demonstrated experience leading design on complex or regulated products
• A portfolio that shows both craft and outcomes
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and hands-on experience contributing to design systems
• Fluency in Agile delivery using Jira or equivalent tool
• Regular use of LLMs and AI-assisted design tools such as Claude, Cursor or Figma Make in your own practice. Experience setting how a team uses them

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery across an engagement with multidisciplinary teams
• Govern design systems, brand guidelines, and accessibility across workstreams
• Define AI standards, tooling, and governance for AI-assisted design work
• Build business cases linking design decisions to client KPIs and outcomes
• Mentor junior designers and develop training programs
• Develop pursuits, proposals, and practice-building activities
