Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Washington, DC within the PxD team of EY Technology Consulting. You will lead end-to-end design workstreams, mentor colleagues, and apply AI-driven methods to frame problems, prototype solutions, and produce actionable specifications for engineering teams.

You’ll collaborate with researchers, technologists, and product managers, guiding design outcomes that balance user needs with business goals. Travel up to 80% domestically to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing end-to-end product design including problem framing, interaction design and outcomes.
• MSc/MA acceptable with experience, or BA with progressive design work.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping, components, and design system contribution.
• Regular use of AI tools like Claude, Cursor or Figma Make in the design process.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for a workstream from framing the problem to writing buildable specifications.
• Mentor junior designers and collaborate with researchers, technologists and product managers.
• Use AI to move faster through framing, options, prototypes and synthesis, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Support business development activities such as pursuits and proposals.
• Present design decisions clearly to engineers, product owners and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and coach client teams to sustain design capability.
