Job summary

EY is seeking a Product Design Manager in New York to lead design delivery for complex financial services engagements. You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams of designers and researchers, set AI‑assisted design standards, and ensure outcomes align with client KPIs.

You will mentor designers, contribute to proposals, and help grow the design capability within the firm while collaborating with risk, legal and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX Design, Interaction Design, Industrial or Product Design or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate work experience in product or UX design, with strong exposure to enterprise platforms or complex systems.
• Alternatively, will accept a master's degree and 4 years of work experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading design on complex or regulated products.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and hands‑on experience contributing to design systems.
• Fluency in Agile delivery using Jira or equivalent tool.
• Regular use of LLMs and AI‑assisted design tools such as Claude, Cursor or Figma Make.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery efforts across an engagement with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, and technologists.
• Shape standards, tooling, and AI use within the practice while ensuring client satisfaction and outcomes.
• Develop and mentor junior designers and manage budgets, pursuits, and proposals.
• Engage in business development activities and higher‑level client interactions.
