Job summary

VOLO Health, LLC in Jupiter, FL, seeks a Product Design Manager to lead our in-house design team and guide UX for mobile and web features across VOLO Health products. This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on design ownership with people leadership.

The role requires setting design strategy, mentoring designers, maintaining design systems, and delivering a cohesive, high-quality user experience throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• 7+ years of UX/product design experience, including mobile design.
• 2+ years of experience directly managing or mentoring designers.
• Understanding of native mobile design guidelines for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience across all phases of UX: research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual and interaction design, usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute design work on select projects with hands-on involvement.
• Lead and manage a team of product designers with direction and mentorship.
• Set design vision and strategy for mobile and web apps and ensure alignment with roadmap.
• Review and guide wireframes, prototypes, and visuals for quality and consistency.
• Establish and maintain design standards, systems, and best practices.
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations to align design with goals.
• Manage team workload, prioritization, and delivery timelines across projects.
• Translate product goals into functional user experiences across the lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep products competitive.
