Job summary

Take Command is seeking a Product Design leader to drive highly ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch. You will shape product strategy, partner with product and engineering, and deliver intuitive, accessible experiences while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, product judgment, interaction design, and shipped outcomes.
• Experience independently leading complex product initiatives.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance customer, business, and technical considerations.
• Commitment to accessible, inclusive, and high-quality experiences.
• Experience using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design including discovery, research, interaction design, prototyping, validation, and implementation.
• Translate customer insights, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive product experiences.
• Partner with product and engineering to define problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve design system and product-quality standards.
• Communicate design rationale and build alignment across teams.
• Shape broader product strategy and mentor teams through influence and example.
