Qualifications

• 8+ years of end‑to‑end product design experience shipping complex, high‑impact products from concept through launch, then iterating based on what you learn.
• A portfolio showing strong product judgment, systems thinking, and craft: turning messy domains into intuitive experiences.
• Experience designing technically complex products with deep workflows, permissions, edge cases, platform dependencies, or enterprise‑grade controls.
• Technical curiosity and fluency, including comfort working with engineers on AI systems, platform primitives, model behavior, evals, or related technical concepts.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills enabling movement between long‑term vision and detailed execution.
• Relentless customer focus with domain expertise through research and data.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to align teams around complex tradeoffs.
• High ownership and bias toward action: shipping coherent experiences quickly.

Responsibilities

• Define the long‑term design vision for Rippling IT and evolve a cohesive AI‑native platform for identity, devices, inventory, support, governance, and compliance.
• Shape domain strategy, identify high‑leverage problems, influence roadmap priorities, and craft end‑to‑end flows with polish.
• Lead design for new bets from discovery to product‑market fit using research, prototyping, and rapid iteration.
• Design HR IT workflows for admins, security teams, CIOs, and employees balancing depth and usability.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate complex problems into simple product experiences.
• Define patterns and interaction models to make Rippling IT feel complete and scalable.
• Use AI and prototyping tools to accelerate exploration and define the next generation of IT workflows.
