Job summary

GoerTek is hiring a Product Design Engineer in our Santa Clara office to bring consumer electronics products from concept through mass production. You'll partner directly with our customers' engineering teams and drive cross-functional work internally to meet product specifications on schedule.

You’ll work within a project-based team structure in a matrix organization, with your time shared across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years designing consumer electronics.
• Experience with metal stamping, plastic injection molding, and surface treatments.

Responsibilities

• Develop design proposals for customers with the China team and present them.
• Respond to customer questions and coordinate with China R&D.
• Join projects as the PD engineer and perform design reviews, tolerance analysis, DFM, and assembly flow.
