Job summary

Figma, a leader in collaborative design, seeks a Content Strategist focused on Product to craft narratives around design processes and product features. You’ll translate complex design concepts into engaging stories for multiple audiences and formats, helping us illuminate how products take shape.

With a track record in design-focused writing, you’ll interview designers and product stakeholders, contribute to thought leadership, and collaborate with marketing to extend our content strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience creating content with a focus on product design or technology.
• Strong portfolio of design-focused writing (articles, case studies, interviews).
• Deep understanding of design processes, terminology, culture, and tools.
• Experience interviewing designers and technical stakeholders with clear editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling content that showcases product design and development processes, methodologies, and thinking.
• Develop narratives around new product features that highlight design decisions and user problems being solved.
• Interview designers, researchers, and product managers to capture authentic perspectives.
• Contribute to thought leadership on design trends, tools, and methodologies with the product community.
• Create case studies that highlight innovative design and product work and workflows.
• Partner with product teams to document and share design processes.
• Maintain an authentic design voice across our content platforms.
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to integrate stories into our content strategy.
