Job Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role includes acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers, and demonstrating products in a professional manner. Maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance in line with job expectations.
- Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Use the internet, internal systems, Microsoft Outlook, and view documents in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.
Additional tasks may be assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
- Local Food Handler permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Stand and walk throughout the shift; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; have visual ability to read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact with cleaning supplies.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
- Ensuring a professional appearance and proper grooming; specific retailer dress code requirements are provided in training documents.
- English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
