Job summary

Nexperia seeks a Product Definition Engineer (Systems / Applications Engineer) to translate customer needs into product specifications for automotive, industrial, and server markets. You will work with R&D, marketing, and customers to drive next-generation power path devices and define architectures and datasheet targets.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, roadmaps, competitive benchmarking, and ROI analysis while collaborating with global teams to bring products to market and train

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in applications, systems, or product definition engineering.
  • Experience with power ICs: load switches, eFuses, ideal diodes, hot-swap.
  • Knowledge of automotive, industrial, or server power systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate system requirements into IC specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Definition Engineer (Systems / Applications Engineer) to drive the development of next-generation power path devices including ideal diodes, load switches, eFuses, and hot-swap controllers. You will translate system and customer needs into product specifications targeting automotive, industrial, and computing/server markets, while collaborating closely with R&D, marketing, and customers.
