Configuration Management

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

The role involves assisting with activities to gather and document product requirements related to certification, configuration, data, and engineering processes. The specialist will help develop plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements, and maintain configuration control. Responsibilities include gathering data to monitor adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements, assisting with audits and reviews, and supporting certification plans, process architectures, and data management processes. The role works under supervision.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the Configuration Management (CM) Lead in developing, documenting, and implementing plans and processes for product compliance and configuration control.
2. Assisting management to achieve optimal performance, schedule, operational efficiency, logistics support, and readiness of configuration items, focusing on cost-effectiveness.
3. Administering CM disciplines across affected program organizations.
4. Publishing, implementing, and maintaining CM procedures.
5. Ensuring configuration records are prepared and updated per PWS requirements.

No physical requirements or limitations are associated with this role.

Required Skill Sets:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel.
• Computer savviness and ability to work effectively with digital tools.

Preferred Skill Set:

• Data management experience.
• Scanning and uploading documents, CDs, etc.

Experience:

This is an entry-level role; 1-2 years of experience is preferred, but training will be provided to familiarize the contractor with Boeing's systems.

Education: High school diploma required.

Pay Rate Range:

• Minimum: $35.25/hour
• Maximum: $38/hour
