Meta seeks an Associate General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance on product counseling for Business Agents - Paid Messaging. You will partner with product, privacy, and operations teams to identify and mitigate global legal risk across multiple jurisdictions.

The role emphasizes data protection, competition law, and cross‑functional collaboration on innovative product initiatives in a fast-paced environment. A D. degree and active bar membership are required.

Formación

• J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney (including at a law firm or in-house).
• Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
• Experience working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide product, engineering, and other business teams with legal advice across data protection laws, competition law, IP, and other global frameworks.
• Help drive consensus and coordinate with public policy, partnerships, communications and other cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary issues.
• Work cross-functionally with attorneys from other teams such as privacy, regulatory, commercial, and litigation.
• Support privacy and data protection compliance initiatives as they relate to Business Agents - Paid Messaging products.
