Qualifications

• J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney (in-house or at a law firm)
• Experience working independently and cross-functionally
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze products, policies and initiatives to provide risk mitigation strategies across jurisdictions.
• Provide legal advice across data protection, competition, IP, and global frameworks to product teams.
• Coordinate with policy, partnerships, communications and cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary issues.
• Collaborate with privacy, regulatory, commercial, and litigation attorneys to align strategies.
• Support privacy and data protection initiatives as they relate to the paid messaging products.
