Job summary

Tools for Humanity seeks a Product Counsel to support its global product counseling function across AI, digital identity, biometrics, and blockchain-enabled offerings. You will collaborate with product, engineering, cryptography, hardware, design, security, and business teams through the product lifecycle to navigate legal, regulatory, safety, and reputational risks.

The role reports to the Deputy General Counsel, Product & Intellectual Property, and requires practical judgment, curiosity, and

Qualifications

2+ years of legal experience, preferably with consumer tech, fintech, blockchain, or digital identity.
Experience advising across the full product lifecycle, from development to launch.
Knowledge of laws and regulatory frameworks in financial services, blockchain, privacy, and platform governance.
Experience supporting globally distributed consumer products and multi-jurisdictional issues.

Responsibilities

Serve as a legal partner to product, engineering, hardware, cryptography, design, and security teams throughout the lifecycle.
Advise on legal and regulatory issues relating to digital identity, biometrics, AI, and blockchain-enabled products.
Develop scalable approaches for launching products globally across diverse regulatory environments.
Translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for technical and business teams.
