Job summary

Tools for Humanity is seeking a Senior Product Counsel to support its global product counseling function across AI, digital identity, blockchain, biometrics, and consumer financial technologies. You will partner with product, engineering, cryptography, hardware, design, security, and business teams to launch globally scaled products while managing legal, regulatory, safety, and reputational risk.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as product counsel, including significant in-house product counseling.
• Experience supporting AI, consumer technology, fintech, blockchain, and/or privacy/regulatory matters.
• Ability to advise across the full product lifecycle and multi-jurisdictional issues.
• Experience supporting globally distributed consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal partner to product, engineering, hardware, cryptography, design, and security teams.
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues for digital identity, biometrics, agentic AI, blockchain, fintech, privacy.
• Assess risks for new features, products, and business models and provide scalable launch guidance.
• Translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance for technical and business stakeholders.
• Draft product terms, disclosures, policies, user flows, and internal guidance materials.
• Support incident response and cross-functional reviews on trust, safety, and user risk.
