Job summary

Nium, the global leader in real-time cross-border payments, seeks a Global Vertical Head of Regulatory Compliance to guide Platforms commercial teams on regulatory matters. You will partner with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Legal, and country teams to structure compliant opportunities globally.

The role focuses on practical AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, and licensing considerations, enabling responsible growth across platforms and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in compliance, regulatory risk, or legal in payments/fintech.
• Experience advising commercial, sales, partnerships, or account teams.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/KYB, licensing and payments regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead as senior compliance partner to Platforms commercial leadership.
• Identify regulatory considerations early in sales and structuring deals.
• Coordinate with country compliance teams and product, legal, and partnerships.
• Advise on platforms, marketplaces, and complex business relationships.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for the business.
