Job summary

Gen is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Product & Commercial in Tempe to partner with product, engineering, UX, marketing and sales teams. You will provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice across the product lifecycle, from ideation through go‑to‑market and ongoing customer experience.

You will support complex commercial transactions and partnerships, with a focus on clear risk management and regulatory compliance. This role requires a confident self-starter in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited law school and admitted to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 3–6 years of experience in technology products or commercial transactions.
• Strong judgment and ability to provide business‑oriented legal advice across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor to product, UX, engineering and marketing teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for sales and partner channels.
• Provide risk guidance and develop scalable templates and playbooks, including AI tools.
• Partner with Privacy, Brand, IP, and Commercial Legal teams to align guidance.
