Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Chief of Staff to the SVP of Product. This strategic partner will anchor the product leadership function, own external product narrative, and lead initiatives like AI enablement and major strategic bets.

You’ll scale leadership rhythms, manage hiring and budgets, and partner with Finance, HR, and Technology Operations to drive roadmap planning and OKRs. A high-growth tech company, remote-first with some office-based roles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in roles that built product credibility and strategic narrative chops.
• Exceptional written communication: ghostwrite and draft board pages.
• Pattern-matching for organizational dysfunction and leadership gaps.
• Comfort operating with influence across senior leaders in Product, Engineering, Design, Revenue, Finance, and HR.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the product leadership team rhythms and reviews.
• Co-own hiring, calibrations, performance, and talent reviews with HRBP.
• Define and improve roadmaps, OKRs, and progress tracking with Tech Ops.
• Own headcount planning and budget management with Finance and HRBP.
• Drive AI retooling and enablement across the function.
• Curate external product narrative and prepare executive briefings.
• Reduce decision latency across the Product leadership team.
• Run an org health pulse and surface signals early.
