Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Rock Hill, SC seeks a hands-on technician to analyze issues in test booths, troubleshoot machines, and lead root-cause analysis to improve first-time quality. You will conduct product audits, support testing and rework, and train operators while aligning with safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of assembly experience with strong knowledge of assembly and testing for air compressors, generators and pumps.
• Experience in troubleshooting of air compressors, generators or pumps.
• Operating knowledge of systems and basic computer operation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines in the test booth and report risks or incidents on time.
• Identify root causes and categorize issues by assembly, programming or supplier quality.
• Communicate daily issues to respective teams for corrective action and operator training.
• Support testing and rework and assist training and 5S initiatives.
• Perform product audits and coordinate process improvements with other lines.
