Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Quality Technician to help ensure produced goods meet customer requirements and quality standards. You will assist production, perform inspections, document non-conformances, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes, supporting a high-quality product and first-time yields.

The role requires strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills, with experience reading drawings and working in a team-oriented

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience in a Quality Technician role in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
• Associate degree or High school degree with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to production.
• Perform visual, layout, dimensional, non-destructive tests of materials produced in-house, and purchased against specified quality characteristics.
• Process rejections and generation of non-conformance documentation.
• Identify problems in manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Communicate within the team to provide a solution.
• Implement required changes to eliminate process failures pertaining to product quality.
• Work closely with method engineers to update work instruction and supporting reference documentation.
