Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Quality Technician to perform inspections and process evaluations to ensure products meet quality standards and first-time yield targets. You will support production and generate non-conformance reports to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to interpret drawings and instructions while working on-site in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Must be well organized with attention to detail.
• Strong math, computer, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting detailed drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office; BPCS is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Persistent in pursuing remedies to achieve quality standards.
• Able to articulate importance of process requirements to assemblers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to production.
• Perform visual, layout, dimensional, non-destructive tests of materials produced in-house and purchased against quality characteristics.
• Process rejections and non-conformance documentation.
• Identify problems in manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Communicate within the team to provide solutions.
• Implement changes to eliminate process failures related to product quality.
• Update work instructions and supporting documents with method engineers.
