Job summary

Leviat is seeking a Product Application Engineer to join the North America Product Engineering team. You will deliver technical assistance, perform engineering support for all product lines, and report to the Technical Services Manager.

Based in San Antonio, TX, this role combines design support with customer-facing problem solving. Responsibilities include collaborating with contractors, engineers, and architects; performing structural calculations; presenting product specifications; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Mechanical Engineering degree considered with relevant structural coursework.
• Professional Engineer in Training certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in structural engineering for steel, concrete, precast or tilt-up.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Mathcad and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Interact with contractors, engineers, architects to resolve technical issues.
• Provide design support for project-specific applications.
• Promote product specifications to the design community.
• Communicate with internal/external customers and teams.
• Collaborate and present to support Leviat products.
