Job summary

PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Product & Actuarial Program Manager to drive development, design specifications, vendor research, and program delivery. You will work with IT and business teams to shape strategy, design, and execution across multiple programs.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, training, and ensuring documentation, with a strong emphasis on actuarial and product alignment in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant field.
• 6 years of experience in Product, Actuarial, or related roles.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance.
• 2+ years leading or managing projects.
• Solid insurance background with understanding of Product or Actuarial functions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and business teams throughout the life of the program.
• Coach and mentor team members; develop strategy and obtain design approvals.
• Develop enterprise project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Facilitate end-user training and ensure documentation is complete.
• Manage project costs and audit vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Identify dependencies and manage cross-project requirements.
• Lead cross-functional program teams and vendor selection via RFPs.
• Communicate across departments and to Executives; allocate resources.
• Coordinate resources to maximize utilization and on-time delivery.
