Job summary

PEMCO is seeking an experienced Actuary to join our Product Development team. You will drive profitability assessments, refine pricing strategies, and build sophisticated actuarial models across pricing, reserving, and analytics while collaborating with partners across the business.

Your work will shape financial strategies, optimize insurance products, and leverage data-driven insights for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of property casualty actuarial experience with emphasis on rate-making and personal lines.
• Strong technical aptitude and programming experience.
• ACAS is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal loss reserving to track and analyze trends and forecast.
• Apply advanced actuarial techniques for pricing analysis and rating variables.
• Develop actuarial models using predictive and statistical methods under guidance.
• Collaborate with business partners on product decisions and impacts.
• Prepare regulatory filings in alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor annual forecast and identify risks and trends.
• Investigate actuarial issues and act as consultant for complex modeling.
• Support PEMCO Brand and ethics in all activities.
