Job summary

PEMCO seeks an experienced actuary to join the Product Development team in shaping pricing, reserving, and modeling strategies. You will analyze trends, build predictive models, and collaborate with partners to optimize insurance products for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of property casualty actuarial experience focused on rate-making and personal lines.
• ACAS is required.
• Strong technical aptitude and programming experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal loss reserving to track and analyze trends, ensuring financial stability and accurate forecasting.
• Assist in pricing analysis and indicating methodologies to influence rate level and rating variables.
• Develop sophisticated actuarial models using predictive techniques and statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with business partners on product decisions and assess impacts.
• Prepare regulatory filings and align with company objectives and compliance standards.
