Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Product Accounting Lead to own accounting for new products and markets. The role partners with global teams—expanding product offerings, establishing accounting infrastructure, and ensuring GAAP-compliant processes.

Office options include San Francisco or New York 1–3 days per week. You will manage ARD development, month-end close, intercompany transactions, foreign exchange, and UAT to enable timely product launches.

Qualifications

• Proven GAAP knowledge and strong internal controls.
• Experience with revenue recognition under GAAP.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Product Teams and Accounting Department to implement financial processes.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop ARDs for new products, including revenue recognition and fund flows.
• Establish and maintain accounting infrastructure for new products and country launches.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing to validate system builds for new launches.
• Drive automation of journal entries, reporting, and integrations.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed.
