Job description

Producer - Entertainment & Live Experiences

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Work Location: Hybrid

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Overview

An established brand experience and production agency is looking for a Producer to deliver live experiences for leading film, television and streaming brands. The agency brings together strategy, creative and production to create immersive activations, fan experiences, premieres and entertainment launches.

You’ll lead events with budgets up to $1M, taking responsibility for production planning, client communication, team leadership and on-site execution. Working closely with creative and account teams, you’ll ensure ambitious ideas are delivered with care, precision and strong commercial control.

Previous entertainment experience isn’t essential; the agency is interested in producers with a strong record of delivering complex live experiences. Candidates currently holding a Senior Producer title elsewhere are also welcome to apply. Benefits include health and wellness coverage, a 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO, paid parental leave and a communication stipend.

What You’ll Do
  • Independently lead live events from initial planning through to installation, delivery, dismantling and reconciliation.
  • Develop and manage budgets up to $1M, tracking costs and communicating changes throughout production.
  • Create detailed production schedules, project timelines and event delivery plans.
  • Lead internal teams, freelancers, vendors and on-site crews, providing clear direction and accountability.
  • Manage client communication around scope, responsibilities, schedules, budgets and approvals.
  • Work closely with creative teams to translate concepts into practical and effective production solutions.
  • Source and oversee suppliers across scenic fabrication, staging, lighting, audio, graphics, venues and labour.
  • Assess project resource requirements with leadership and coordinate teams efficiently.
  • Support and develop junior production colleagues through regular check-ins, guidance and feedback.
  • Resolve production challenges under pressure while maintaining quality and the audience experience.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least five years of event production experience within an agency or comparable live production environment.
  • A track record of independently leading substantial events from planning through to completion.
  • Experience managing budgets approaching $1M, including cost tracking and final reconciliation.
  • Confidence leading production teams, freelancers, suppliers and on-site crews.
  • Strong technical understanding across fabrication, AV, staging and permitting.
  • A professional, personable approach to client relationships and difficult production conversations.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines and changing requirements.
  • Sound judgement and a calm, practical approach to solving problems.
  • Experience producing entertainment, lifestyle, immersive or other consumer-facing brand experiences; direct entertainment experience is welcome but not required.
  • A valid driving licence and flexibility to support evening and weekend events when required.

We are passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality, and are committed to working with clients who share our outlook. We offer equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of background, identity, sexuality, and disability. We strive to create inclusive cultures where diversity is seen as real value for the company. Our mission is for everyone to feel empowered to be their true authentic selves at work.
