Job description

Location: New York City, New York preferred

Work Location: Hybrid

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year at Producer level

Overview

An established brand experience and production agency is looking for a Producer to deliver B2B events and experiences for leading technology and advertising brands. Projects span conferences, advertiser events, customer and partner programmes, trade shows and live brand experiences.

You’ll independently manage programmes with budgets up to $1M and lead substantial production workstreams within larger events. This could suit someone from a large agency who has taken ownership of a defined area within a major technology conference, managing its budget, suppliers, schedules and delivery.

The agency is considering candidates at Producer and Senior Producer level, with Senior Producer scope and compensation to be discussed separately. Benefits include health and wellness coverage, a 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO, paid parental leave and a communication stipend.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage programmes with budgets up to $1M and lead key production workstreams on larger events.
  • Take ownership of assigned production scope, coordinating budgets, schedules, suppliers, logistics and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the wider production team to manage dependencies and maintain consistent delivery across the event.
  • Develop, track and reconcile budgets, overseeing invoices, vendor payments and financial accuracy.
  • Source, brief and manage suppliers across fabrication, AV, staging, venues and other event requirements.
  • Provide clear client communication on responsibilities, scope, budgets, schedules and approvals.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy and account teams to translate concepts into effective experiences for business audiences.
  • Coordinate internal resources and freelance production staff, providing clear direction throughout the project.
  • Lead on-site delivery for assigned programmes or workstreams, resolving issues and maintaining production standards.
  • Complete project closeout, including reconciliation and production documentation.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least five years of event production experience, including B2B and technology events.
  • Experience across conferences, advertiser events, customer programmes, partner summits, trade shows or similar formats.
  • Clear ownership of complete programmes or substantial workstreams within larger events.
  • Confidence independently managing budgets, vendors, schedules and production deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of technical production, fabrication, AV and permitting.
  • Strong client communication skills and the ability to manage expectations throughout delivery.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and interdependent workstreams.
  • Confidence directing production colleagues, freelancers and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and project management tools.
  • A valid driving licence and flexibility to support evening and weekend events when required.
