Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Berkeley is seeking a Produce Team Supervisor to assist in scheduling, supervising Team Members, and maintaining appealing displays. You will support the Produce Team Leader and ensure daily operations run smoothly while upholding company standards for service and safety.

You will train, mentor, and develop team members, manage inventory, and ensure accurate pricing and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required (12+ months).
• Ability to supervise and delegate effectively.
• Must lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Works with Produce Trainer to train Team Members and reduce turnover.
• Assists in training of new Team Members with checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and properly rotated.
• Opens and closes department per established procedures.
• Ensures all required breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader.
