Whole Foods Market, Inc. Basalt store seeks an experienced Team Leader to assist in daily operations and drive profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will coach Team Members, manage merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance, and partner with the Team Leader on performance evaluations. Responsibilities include optimizing store layout, achieving sales and labor targets, and fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and coaching ability.
• Experience leading front-line teams in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of merchandising and store layout optimization.
• Familiarity with regulatory and safety policies.
• Proven ability to manage labor and budgetary considerations.
• Proficient in data analysis for sales and profitability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops / maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains good vendor relationships, develops new vendor relations, and ensures all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Team Leader
• Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
• Fosters and encourages a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
