Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to learn product knowledge and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, rotating and checking codes.
• Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
• Answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintain clean workspace.
• Report safety hazards and follow up as required.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
