Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Miami is seeking a Produce Team Member to perform prep, cutting fruits and vegetables, and merchandising while delivering courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members.

You will follow health, safety and Weights and Measures rules, keep a clean station, assist with pricing, and help meet department goals. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand 6–8 hours, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, follows safety and sanitation rules.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department and logs sweep logs.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready for shifts.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products.
• Follows procedures including FDA safety rules and Weights & Measures.
• Maintains clean, sanitary workspace and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
