The incumbent will check daily quality, communicate issues to buyers, rotate stock properly, monitor spoilage, greet customers, document product conditions, and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Check produce in slots daily to ensure shipping quality.
• Communicate quality issues with buyers to ensure high-quality products.
• Ensure proper rotation of products and report rotation issues to stockers/supervisors.
• Monitor spoilage and damage via variance reports.
• Provide friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and outbound product and document condition.
• Regularly inform relevant parties about product quality status.
• Analyze and propose solutions to quality assurance problems.
• Follow all safety, sanitation rules and policies.
