Sysco Metro New York, LLC is seeking a Finance position focused on monitoring the quality of perishable products in the warehouse. You will input orders via data entry while performing extensive customer service duties and related tasks.

Regularly you will use discretion and judgment in duties tied to warehouse operations. The role requires attention to quality, accuracy in reporting, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a related finance/QA role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Check produce in slots daily to ensure shipping-grade quality.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers and assist in resolutions.
• Ensure proper product rotation and report any rotation problems to stockers/supervisors.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage and warehouse damage.
• Greet internal and external customers to maintain high service levels.
• Inspect inbound/outbound freight and document product condition.
• Correspond on product quality status with necessary parties.
• Analyze and propose solutions to quality assurance problems.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and company policies.
