Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Quality Control Associate to monitor the quality of perishable products in the warehouse, input orders by data entry, and provide extensive customer service.

You will check daily slots, communicate issues to buyers, ensure proper rotation, and document product condition while following safety and sanitation rules. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control or related roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to input orders and maintain customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Check produce in slots daily to ensure items meet shipping standards.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers and assist in resolutions.
• Ensure proper rotation and report any rotation problems to staff.
• Monitor spoilage, warehouse damage, and other variance reports.
• Greet internal and external customers to maintain service quality.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused and outbound product and document condition.
• Correspond regularly on the company’s quality status.
• Analyze and propose actions to resolve QA problems.
• Observe all safety rules and sanitation policies.
