Qualifications

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items and uses the Prep Production Guide and Display Cooking Prep Production Guide.
• Ensures proper labeling, dating, and rotation of bulk produce and prepped items.
• Notifies management of discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, excessive waste, or items not meeting specifications.
• Maintains cleanliness of prep area, cooler units, equipment, and dry storage.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to product specifications and recipes to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Maintains inventory levels per the Prep Production Guide and related guides.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies or quality issues.
• Assists Buffet Attendant in keeping buffet area full, clean, and presentable.
• Cleans and organizes prep area and equipment; follows health department rules.
