Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Desire to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department continuously and maintains sweep logs.
• Arrives to work on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of product.
• Follows procedures including health and safety and Weights and Measures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
