Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, following all safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department continuously and maintains sweep logs.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; works scheduled shifts and attends trainings/meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health/sanitation, and safe practices.
• Keeps a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signage and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and policy violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
