Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with 1–3 years in grocery retail management, produce preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Keep department clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks as needed.
• Food Handlers permit and flexible schedule required.
• Understanding of reports and financial goals is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operation of the Produce Department.
• Ensure quality control, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory and scheduling to maximize productivity.
• Coach and evaluate team members with performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and collaborate with Store Manager.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with leadership.
• Address team concerns with appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead a team to deliver quality product and service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
• Communicate standards and policies to staff.
