Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Produce Department Lead in Billings, MT to supervise hourly associates and drive sales in Produce and Floral while delivering on the club’s business plan. You will model expertise and work with other team leaders to meet member expectations and uphold company standards for quality and safety.

You will leverage handheld tech to guide decisions, manage staffing, and ensure a neat, safe work area.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and meet member expectations.
• Communicate department goals and adhere to policies while advocating for members and associates.
• Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of produce operations, quality, inventory, safety and compliance.
• Utilize digital tools to plan, drive sales, train staff and improve performance.
