Job summary

Walmart in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Produce Department Lead to drive sales and supervise hourly associates, delivering to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations.

You will lead the Produce and Floral team, maintain quality and safety standards, and coach associates to improve performance while coordinating with store leadership to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in fresh production or supervising a team
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willing to complete trainings and assessments

Responsibilities

• Lead team in Produce and Floral to meet business plan and drive sales
• Communicate department goals and adhere to policies
• Collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations
• Maintain knowledge of floor operations ensuring quality, inventory, sanitation and safety
• Manage seasonal item volume and prioritization across areas
• Train and mentor associates to ensure resources and know-how
• Leverage handheld devices and digital tools to plan, train, and improve operations
• Drive profitability and maintain a neat, safe work area
• Staffing, audits and compliance aligned with plan and member service
• Promote a culture of belonging and inclusivity within the team
