Job summary

Walmart in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Produce Department Lead to supervise the Produce and Floral team, drive sales, and uphold Walmart standards of quality and safety. You will collaborate with fellow team leaders to achieve store goals and deliver great member service.

You will leverage handheld devices and digital tools to plan, train, and enhance the customer experience, while ensuring proper staffing and a clean, safe work floor.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Lead the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and meet member expectations.
• Communicate department goals and execute company programs
• Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations
• Maintain knowledge of backroom operations and ensure quality, inventory, sanitation, safety, and compliance
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Use handheld technology to support production, training and quality decisions
• Maintain staffing levels and a neat, safe work area for the team and members
• Lead and develop associates, sharing knowledge and coaching with a focus on growth
