The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce & Floral Department Lead in Cincinnati, OH. You will support the Produce & Floral Department Manager, lead your team with care, ensure every guest feels welcome, and keep the department looking its best.

You will work alongside your manager, teaching and coaching for growth, with opportunities to step in as acting manager when needed. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence, with a focus on guest satisfaction and department

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, or related fields.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Track record delivering an excellent guest experience while meeting goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Help monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and support ordering processes.
• Act as a resource for team members and provide guidance in the manager's absence.
• Model hospitality and engage guests to create positive experiences.

• Assist in analyzing department financial and performance metrics.
