The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce & Floral Department Lead to support the Department Manager in creating an extraordinary guest experience. You will lead with care, coach the team, and keep departments looking their best while running operations smoothly in the manager’s absence.

You’ll monitor schedules, manage inventory, assist in merchandising, and analyze metrics to drive store success. A collaborative, hospitality-driven culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Preferred: associate degree in business, retail management or related field.

• Help monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain inventory levels, minimize shrink, and support ordering processes.
• Act as a resource for team members and coach in the manager’s absence.
• Model hospitality and engage guests to create positive experiences.

• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
